Spreading the word
Our Values Ambassadors have been working hard recently, making a video explaining the impact of being a Rights Respecting School and promoting it to other schools.
Article 24
Our values ambassadors have chosen Article 24 as the article which they would like to promote this year in the school and in the wider world.
Our Values Ambassadors are currently encouraging other pupils to bring healthy snacks at playtime.
Rights Respecting Mascot
Congratulations to Belle in Year 6 for designing our new Rights Respecting mascot for St Mary's! Our Values Ambassadors were very impressed with the design of the character and the motto. Well done Belle!
A Safe Environment
As part of our work involving Article 24, we have been working on a campaign to encourage safety on Cornhill Road. One aspect of this is a letter we recently wrote to our local Member of Parliament, asking for help with this matter.
